Maudie (she/her) is a mother, educator, and multidisciplinary artist who weaves her experiences with trauma and mental illness into works exploring the complexities of memory and identity. She is the 2024 recipient of the G. Scott Griffin Award in the literature discipline, recognizing artists who create through adversity. Her writing sheds light on the depths of human experience, themes that often find echoes in the symbolism and imagery of her visual art. Holding a Master of Arts in English from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, her work has appeared or is forthcoming in nDada Public, Anodyne Magazine, Discretionary Love, Susurrus, orange juice, Libre, and others.

Brandon is a lawyer, poet, and expatriate. Before earning his Juris Doctorate at Louisiana State University, Brandon earned his bachelor's and master's degree in English from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Brandon is a Southern writer that uses his unique perspective to explore themes of juxtaposition, identity, and existentialism.
